Dear Mr. President,
On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I extend congratulations on the occasion of Kazakhstan’s national holiday – Independence Day. I wish you and the people of Kazakhstan a memorable celebration as well as long years of well-being and prosperity to your country.
Relations between Lithuania and Kazakhstan – developed in the spirit of openness and mutual interest for many years now – are growing increasingly stronger. Joint projects launched by our citizens in economic, transport, scientific, educational and cultural areas have created a solid foundation for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Mr. President, I strongly hope that new initiatives at the bilateral level and within the context of relations with the European Union will continue to strengthen our nations, ensuring the security and the general good of our people. I am confident that the membership of Kazakhstan in the World Trade Organization will further promote collaborative ties between our two countries in trade, business and investment. I would like to take the opportunity to wish your country success and determination in your ambitious plans to organize the next world’s fair, Expo 2017.
May I again offer my congratulations to you and the people of Kazakhstan on Independence Day. Please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my highest consideration.
