Danish Prime Minister is coming to Lithuania


On Monday, January 15, President Dalia Grybauskaitė will meet with Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen. The Lithuanian President and the Prime Minister of Denmark will visit the Danish military personnel serving in NATO’s Baltic air policing mission at the Zokniai air base near Šiauliai. During their meeting, Dalia Grybauskaitė and Lars Løkke Rasmussen will discuss bilateral relations, cooperation between Lithuania and Denmark within the European Union, common interests in Brexit negotiations, EU future, reinforcement of NATO’s defense capabilities, and support to Ukraine.

Lithuania is the first Baltic country to become associate member of CERN


The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) announced that Lithuania became associate member state of CERN.
