Dalia Grybauskaitė extended condolences to U.S. President over Connecticut school tragedy
Friday, December 14, Vilnius - President Dalia Grybauskaitė offered her condolences to the President of the United States, Barack Obama, over the tragedy in Connecticut where several dozens of people, including children, were killed during a school shooting spree.
"I am deeply shocked to hear about the tragedy in Connecticut that resulted in the loss of many innocent lives. I want to express my heartfelt condolences and those of the Lithuanian people. In this hour of immense pain and grief, I wish strength and fortitude to you and to the victims' families and dear ones," the President wrote in her message of condolences.
